These terms cover this website, the self-guided field cut and prerelease reservation requests. Final ticket, cancellation, weather, waiver and participation terms will be presented before any guest pays for a live departure.
Independent experience
Santa Cruz After Dark is an independent walking experience. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or authorized by Warner Bros., the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk, the City of Santa Cruz or the filmmakers and performers associated with The Lost Boys.
Reservation requests
Submitting a founding reservation request does not create a paid booking or guarantee a departure. A booking becomes final only after dates, price and participation terms are presented and payment is accepted through the selected booking provider.
Research and intellectual property
The site distinguishes verified facts, corroborated research and fan mythology in good faith. Historical details may change as stronger sources emerge. The Santa Cruz After Dark brand, original route materials, script, diagrams and keepsake designs may not be reproduced commercially without permission. Third-party film titles and marks belong to their respective owners.
Self-guided walking safety
The field cut is informational audio, not live supervision, emergency service or a guarantee that a route is open. Conditions, construction, weather, traffic and private-property boundaries can change. Use only legal public paths, obey signs and staff, pause audio before crossings, remain outside railroad rights-of-way and choose a safer nearby listening position whenever needed. Location assistance is approximate and never grants access to private or closed space.
